APC STATEMENT ON THE TRANSITION COALITION
The ALLIANCE POLITIQUE POUR LE CHANGEMENT (APC) learned on Tuesday 30 January 2024 from the Honorable Cabral LIBII LI NGUE, National President of the PCRN, that opposition political parties had created a Transition Coalition which will publish a Document de l'Offre Politique Mutualisée de Transition (DOPMT), and then choose its candidate for the next presidential election in 2025.
The APC deduces that this publication by the Honourable Cabral LIBII is in fact a response to the invitation sent to him at the beginning of January by the APC and which he published on social networks, but has not, to date, deigned to respond, even less in the same form as the invitation sent to his party.
The APC takes note.
The APC calls on its supporters, members of allied parties and organisations, religious and traditional leaders, academics, intellectuals, women and men of culture, and the People of Change to remain focused on the only worthwhile objective, namely the victory of their candidate, Professor Maurice KAMTO, in 2025 or before.
The People of Change, living in Cameroon or in the Diaspora, must not allow themselves to fall into the trap of distraction. They must remain focused on the preparation of the forthcoming campaign of their candidate, Professor Maurice Kamto, the right man for 2025 or before, in a mutualised manner and open to all Cameroonians who wish to contribute to the national renaissance.
The APC invites Cameroonians to register en masse on the electoral roll, to vote on the day, and to monitor and defend their votes, to ensure a resounding victory for their candidate.
the APC is not designed to be distracted.
Signed in Douala on 30 January 2024
Honourable Jean Michel NINTCHEU
National Chairman of the Front for Change in Cameroon (FCC) and Acting National Coordinator of the APC
